What porcelain veneers actually cost in 2026.

There's no national price for a veneer — but there is a real range, and there are real reasons the number varies. Here's how UNO prices them, what's included, and what to ignore.

The real range in San Francisco.

Porcelain veneers in SF generally run $1,500–$2,500 per tooth. UNO sits in the middle of that range. What changes the number: the porcelain brand (e.minus, lithium disilicate), the ceramist (we use a local SF master ceramist for cosmetic cases), and how many teeth are being treated as a unit.

What's included in our quote.

Diagnostic scans + digital smile preview, two in-office appointments (prep + delivery), the lab work, two-year warranty on bonding integrity, and a follow-up checkup at 6 weeks. Whitening is quoted separately if needed.

Composite veneers — when they make sense.

Composite (direct) veneers cost roughly $400–$800 per tooth and can be done in one visit. They last 5–8 years versus porcelain's 12–20. Right for younger patients, single-tooth fixes, or trial runs before committing to porcelain.

Common questions.

Can I see what they'll look like before committing?

Yes — we do a digital smile preview, and for full-smile cases, we do a wax-up mockup that we temporarily bond on so you can wear the smile for a few days before final prep.

Are veneers reversible?

Minimal-prep veneers can be removed without permanent damage. Full-prep veneers shave a small amount of enamel and are not reversible — we recommend them only when the bite or shape requires it.

How long do they last?

Porcelain veneers commonly last 12–20 years with good care. We've replaced veneers from 1990s that lasted well past 25 years.
