Extraction and a temporary bridge — same day.
For visible teeth, we'll plan the extraction and a temporary bridge or temporary tooth in the same visit, so you don't walk out with a gap.
What "same-day" looks like in practice.
We pre-plan with digital scans and an X-ray, do the extraction with local anesthesia (or sedation if preferred), and bond a same-day provisional restoration so you leave with a tooth in place. Final restoration (bridge, implant, or denture) is planned for 6–12 weeks later once the gum heals.
When this works, and when it doesn't.
Single front tooth with healthy adjacent teeth — usually yes. Multiple teeth, large infection, or severe bone loss — we plan more carefully and may stage the work. We'll walk you through both options with photos and pricing before any treatment starts.
Common questions.
How long does the same-day visit take?
Plan for 90 minutes total — extraction, hemostasis, scanning, temporary bond, and aftercare review.
Will the temporary look natural?
It's not a permanent restoration, but it's tooth-colored and shaped to your adjacent teeth. It's designed to get you through the healing period.
What's the cost?
We give you a written estimate before treatment, with insurance verified in real time. Most cases fall in a predictable range — we'll show you on screen.
Lost a tooth — or about to?
Call us. We'll plan the same-day temporary and the final restoration before you ever sit in the chair.
